Whether or not this game would release on the PS3 is still officially left to be announced by the developer. Yet again, the possibilities do exist. But to be honest the console to get the material first is more likely to recieve attention then the next console port. Honestly, who here bought (NOT PLAYED) any of the GTA Series for the Xbox (Probably not that many), and the same goes for Metal Gear Solid 2 for the Xbox, who bought that? The fact is that whether or not the game gets ported to th...
Microsoft didn't lose Ninja Gaiden as it is not their property. Furthermore, all Sony is getting is a Xbox Ninja Gaiden remake for the PS3 with enhanced visuals. While, 360, will undoubtedly get a Ninja Gaiden Sequel. I'll rather choose sequel than a remake anytime. However, come to think of it, Playstation, is notorious for remakes. Final Fantasy, anyone!
First the game looks amazing. Second, Paul Cerula, I noticed the same thing in both Halo:CE and Halo 2, and even on The Chronicle's of Riddick. So it's nothing new but Irrational Games is just taking it to the next level of course. And, whoa, it seems that Solid Snake is calling out The Mart, lol. Orale!
You guys can aruge all you want on this one. The real fact is is that MS will never win in Japan, plain and simple. It's not about brand loyalty. My wife is a district manager for Starbuck's coffehouse. They sent her over to Japan to open up a few store's there and train. She said's that Japanesse love that stuff. But that the Starbuck's over there feel different as opposed to American Starbuck's. And yes! Japan does have their own Japanesse coffeehouses, but I forgot what my wife said they w...
Good game. Enjoyed it. But hate the MP or the lag of it.
Whether or not that fact is true most Japanesse developed games never make it beyond mediocre...
I have to disagree with you on that one, bro. If MS wanted to release a Xbox 360 with a built-in HD-DVD drive for HD-DVD games, than they could have since the very beginning. I think initially MS had a choice rather than being stuck with just the DVD9 drive. Even if HD-DVD had lost the next generation format wars, MS could still release games on the HD-DVD disc, making it NOT totally obsolete. But they chose to stick with a familiar format which is DVD. Plus, MS has already sold millions of 3...
Personally, in my opinion having the choice of buying an internal HD-DVD drive on the Xbox 360 is not a bad idea. WAIT HOLD ON LET ME FINISH!!!
If MS keeps it's promise about keeping games in DVD format ONLY. Then this additional SKU will not go against early consumers. Since the addition of HD-DVD will be for movie-playback only. Also, consumers will have the choice of buying the external HD-DVD player when they feel comfortable with the decision of upgrading their entertainment value...
I have a 2 1/2 yr old son who will be three this October. I downloaded the short animated (Viva Pinatas) skits from the XBL Marketplace. That has been my greatest mistake. Now, that is all my son wants to watch. Peep this, he even knows how to turn on my 360, turn to the Media blade, and scroll down to the video section, and pick the Viva Pinata's cartoon. Amazing!!! I know it's hard to believe that is why I plan to record him and post it on YouTube.com for the non-believers. But I think that...
I really believe that Bungie can really pull off a MMOFPS. The Halo universe is diverse and can include of unknown entities and characters. Imagine a universe where the user can choose to be part of the Human of Covenant effort. And within that party there can be a diverse selection of characters to choose from. You can choose to be a elite or even a grunt. Of course, each character will have pro's and con's. But nonetheless, essential to the team effort. If anyone can make something
a...
Dude, first off Guerilla Games only made one game for the Xbox and that was Shellshock: Nam 67. Not only that but it was multiplatform for both the PS2 and Xbox. The game recieved less than mediocre reviews. In fact, Guerilla Games ported that junk of a game from the PS2 to the Xbox. Dude, Sony can keep Guerilla. Don't even fathom the thought that MS developers will ever flip sides. It's like saying SCE Studios Santa Monica (God of War) will "Jump In."
Bhai, I really respect your opinions, I really do. But I can't help but to sense a bit of fanboyism at play. That's quite alright. But if you may I would like to contradict your position in a more ethical manner. You mention that MS pulled the plug on the Original Xbox after 4/5 years of existance. I must admit there is a bit of legitamicy within the fact. But you fail to admit what MS accomplished with the release of the Xbox.
Initially, everyone downsized the Xbox and the mission it...
Dude, your talking about Microsoft here. One of the most financially ground companies in the world. MS has invested heavily in the development of the Xbox brand. I doubt, that after all the time and money invested, they would throw away the towel into everything that they have already gained.
First, describe to me in detail what does a "Next Generation" game have to include to be considered a "Next Generation" title.
I have enjoyed the news and articles that flow out of this site for quite some time now. As a matter of fact, this is the most consistent videogame related website I have come across that is continually updating the audience with information. Hopefully, this update, will eliminate some of the negative aspects of this site. I must admit, I do love a good deliberation but I can also do without the unethical fanboyism.
P.S. Can you please ban or have the user change his avatar (t...
I could care less about this game, anyways. From what I have read throughout many videogame review sources, the game is mediocre at best. So what if it goes to the PS3. The game wasn't a triple AAA title, anyways. But for the game to be stamped with a 'Only on 360" logo, and then have the game jump to the PS3 platform, is quite interesting. For legal purposes, it could be the same game, with different character names and game title?
I was actually enjoying your post until you mentioned that Gears of War (may one day) appear on the PS3 hardware because of third party development going multiplatform. Well, you can squash that lucid idea. Gears of War IP is owned and funded by Microsoft. Epic just concieved the game and are using their propiertary engine to develop it...
If you think that the PS3 and the Wii will be without it's share of lackluster titles, then your obviously a pendejo...
First off and foremost. None of these games are either published or involved in some way with Microsoft and/or Microsoft Game Studios. Except N3, but the game has yet to be released and is exempt from this list. Second, all of these games were developed by studios who were obviously trying to bank in from the new generation console hype. If you really want to openly criticizes the 360 then wait till MS releases 1st party titles. Titles that were especially taylored to use the power of the 360...
I would rather enjoy 8-12 hours of an epic single player campaign backed by an aggressive multiplayer mode than to play a game that is beyond 30-40 hours of gameplay that is rigged with low polygon counts and horrid textures.
